Landmark Hotel
Brief
Landmark Hotel requested a CCTV system upgrade as existing system needed modernizing.
Main objective was to improve on the Hotel’s security system as well as allowing maximum coverage for the security operators in the security control room. The needs of Landmark Hotel required installing new equipment as well as upgrading all cameras from Analogue to High Definition.
Strategy
Improve an aging CCTV system by providing and installing 50 additional Vari focal High Definition cameras in and around preexisting locations in the Hotel. Specialist Cameras recommended were commissioned to obtain specific views required by the head of security. To obtain optimum coverage cameras were professionalized located in areas providing full view of high risk areas. A requirement to improve user friendliness of system as well future proofing was initiated allowing room for expansion in the future without requirement of replacing existing equipment and increase in costs. Our solution allowed for a Modern user-friendly operator software. We proposed a High Definition system over Coax where cable couldn’t be replaced and high definition IP protocol to ensure maximum security coverage.
Results
Amazing clarity in high definition allowing for a much quality image when digitally zoomed for detailing as well professional and reliable equipment guarantee of long life span and long-term investment. The head of security was left with a much-improved system as his organization and security team can now identify faces and incidents with High resolution Images. Overall Landmark Hotel were satisfied with our installation and system upgrade. Image quality was immensely improved by 88% by using one of the leading surveillance systems in the world. A user-friendly interface means that the security team were able to ascertain within seconds of an incident taking place. On completion of system installation, a full customer education was carried out with security personels giving full training on how to operate the newly installed HD CCTV system. Service Facilities provided inclusive package of surveillance equipment allows for high tech functionalities such face recognition, footfall count, motion recording and notification alerts.
